A satisfying smackdown of Nancy Grace

Posted By on Thu, May 21, 2009 at 2:48 PM

Finally, someone has told off Nancy Grace, of CNN's HLN network, while on the air. Grace, the Bloodlust Blonde, one of the bitterest weeds in TV's garden, the woman who brought us the insipid term "tot mom," was yapping Monday night about a murder suspect, when guest McGraw Milhaven, a St. Louis radio journalist, told her, "This show is a joke, you are a joke ... You're missing the whole point. I'm embarrassed to be on this show." To which Grace, in her usual graceless way, replied, "Well, sir, you're off. Cut his mic!" and cut off Milhaven's microphone. See it here:

It's not much, and it would be nice to see more prominent journalists take on Grace's repugnant, grating, obnoxious shtick, but we'll take a good smackdown of a deserving target when we can get it.
