Comedian Mark Klein races into Lake Norman

Posted By on Tue, Aug 4, 2009 at 12:42 PM

Comedian Mark Klein has a long history, of more than 20 years, doing both stand-up and corporate comedic presentations. On the side, he also races horses, which isn't surprising, considering that he's from Louisville, Kentucky. Rattling off his routine like an auctioneer, his fast-paced show features the business of horses, politics and family, among other things. Klein tends to slip in some political left-wing bashing, and you should be prepared to laugh at the seriousness of Kentucky horse racing. You can see Klein in action when he performs tonight at Lake Norman Comedy Zone in Galway Hooker Pub. Also, check out the video (below) for a clip of one of his past performances. Tickets are $10. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.
