Jingle all the way

Posted by Anita Overcash on Thu, Dec 10, 2009 at 12:06 PM

The 15th Annual Jingle Bell Ball - happening tomorrow, Fri., Dec. 11 - is a party, that’s for a good cause. Benefiting the United Family Services Shelter for Battered Women in Charlotte, the event features entertainment from the New South Players. Included in the ticket price are hors d’oeuvres by Blue Restaurant & Bar, two complimentary drink tickets (don’t worry, if you’re still thirsty after that you can visit the cash bar), valet parking and a coat check. A variety of items will also be up for grabs in a silent auction, so you might want to have your checkbooks handy, too. 18 and up. For more information, visit www.jinglebellball.com or www.unitedfamilyservices.org. $65 in advance; $75 at the door. 8 p.m. Held at Grand Central, located at 1000 Central Ave.
