It's Fix-a-Leak Week

Posted by Rhiannon Fionn-Bowman on Tue, Mar 16, 2010 at 12:12 PM

This week is the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Fix-a-Leak Week. Click here for information on how to fix leaks as well as shocking stats on how much water we waste when we ignore leaky faucets, toilets and more. For instance, according to the EPA's stats, "The amount of water leaked from U.S. homes could exceed more than 1 trillion gallons per year. That's equivalent to the annual water use of Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami combined."

Wow. That's one serious water bill.

So, let's put on our plumbers pants and get busy. Waste not, want not — right?
