Arts / News Amuse yourself at Funny First Thursday

If you’re looking for something a bit different than college night this Thursday, head over to Twilight Caribbean Restaurant & Bar for some great food and a load of laughs with their Funny First Thursday, presented by Eddietainment and G.A.S.P. The show is hosted by Kenny “FB Famous” Mack and features some of the funniest people around. This week featured comedians are HBO’s (P. Diddy’s Bad Boys of Comedy) Dave Martin and BET’s (“Comic View”) Tai Griffin. Martin, a Charlotte native, has toured with Cedric the Entertainer, Mike Epps and Steve Harvey and just returned from a tour in Europe. Griffin recently returned from performing on the west coast. Whether you’re into celebrity impersonations or musical parodies, these guy’s brand of comedy is guaranteed to keep you in stitches! $10. 9 p.m. Twilight Caribbean Restaurant & Bar, 10210 Berkeley Place Dr. 704-453-1633.
