Bank of America accused of violating Missouri list

In more great news for Charlotte's business community, Bank of America has agreed to pay the state of Missouri $195,000 after allegations surfaced that the company violated telemarketing laws, as reported by ABCNews.com.

Attorney General Chris Koster says some Missouri residents whose phone numbers are on the do-not-call list complained about receiving unwanted calls from Bank of America and its affiliates.

The state law is intended to stop telemarketers from calling individuals who do not wish to be solicited by telephone.
