With the 65th Annual Tony Awards right around the corner, why not plan to celebrate in style at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center’s seventh annual Tony viewing party?

The free theater party, to be held Sunday, June 12, will bring together some of the most prominent arts supporters and theater fans from around the city for a night of entertainment. Not only will guests enjoy watching the awards on a 10-foot by 14-foot screen, they will also get exclusive previews of the 2011-2012 Duke Energy Broadway Lights Series and a chance to win tickets, show merchandise and more.

Douglas Young, Blumenthal Vice President of Programming, will serve as emcee, and complimentary food and a cash bar will be available.

Doors open at 7 p.m., broadcast begins at 8 p.m. McGlohon Theatre Spirit Square.
