News Inc. magazine: 26 Charlotte companies make 'Engines of the Economy' list

Applause for all of these Charlotte companies you probably never heard of; glad to know the city's businesses are driving this dismal economy, um, somewhere.
I couldn't help but notice the marked lack of energy companies on the list, though ... which says a lot, I think, about Charlotte's goal to become a "green energy hub."
Anyhoo, here's the list of Charlotte companies that made the cut, with their rank:
