News Party like a rock, er... GOP star

The Mecklenburg County GOP plans to win, even if polls are against them.
Tonight, the Mecklenburg Country Young Republicans will host a victory party at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille, 900 E. Morehead St.
Candidates Scott Stone, Andy Dulin, Warren Cooksey, Dennis Peterson, Keith Hurley, Ken Nelson and Christopher Hailey all will be on hand at the event, according to an email the Meck YR sent about the soiree. Dulin and Cooksey are already winners, since both ran unopposed for their seats.
What the young GOPs really want, the email said, is to "shock the world" (or at least Democrats) next September.
If just half of registered Republicans show up & vote for Scott Stone and all of our City Council Candidates, then we will shock the world by greeting the DNC with a Republican Mayor and a Republican City Council Majority.
