Chad Michaels entertains at Pride Charlotte

Posted By on Sat, Aug 25, 2012 at 8:00 AM

Chad Michaels isn't just any drag queen — he’s one of the best Cher impersonators in the country. The San Diego-based performer is so good that he was asked to star in more than one documentary made about the legendary songstress. Most recently, Michaels participated in RuPaul's Drag Race, where he made it as one of the final three queen-testants. Michaels didn't pick up the first-place title or the check for $100,000 that went along with it, but we still belieeeve.

You can catch Michaels in the flesh — and be prepared to look up, because this dazzling diva is more than 6 feet tall in heels, and that's not counting hair — when he performs at the Pride Charlotte festivities. Trina and Erika Jayne are slated to appear, too, among others. Held Uptown, along South Tryon Street, between 4th Street and Stonewall Street. Free admission. Aug. 25, 12 p.m.-10 p.m. and Aug. 26, 12 p.m.-6 p.m. For more information and details on other live entertainment, visit www.pridecharlotte.com.
