Gastonia woman arrested for trying to blow up the police department

Today's "what the f*&#!?" moment comes out of Gastonia, where a woman was arrested after she threatened to blow up the police department.

Cops arrested Amanda Barnes, 37, on Sunday and charged her with "felony attempting malicious damage to government building by explosives," according to the Observer.

Her arrest warrant states that she "unlawfully, willfully and feloniously did attempt to maliciously damage the building owned and occupied by the Gaston County Police Department by the use of an explosive and incendiary device and material," said Sgt. Robert Mitchem with the Gaston County Sheriff's Office.
