It's rare that a band of Bon Jovi's notoriety would hit the road in support of an album that hasn't been released yet, but maybe that's part of their charm. Hitting Charlotte five days before the arena rock band's twelfth studio album, What About Now, hits stores, Bon Jovi has been doing this for years and has become a well-oiled, though slightly cheesy, machine. So, there might be new songs this time around, but people are going to hear the classics. Bon Jovi is "Livin' on a Prayer" and "Wanted Dead or Alive," and while they "Give Love a Bad Name," they weren't "Born to Follow." C'mon, you know the words. ... Nostalgia's quite a trip. $19.50 and up. March 5, 7:30 p.m. Time Warner Cable Arena, 333 E. Trade St. 704-688-9000.
