The 12th District race just got a little more interesting: The special election to fill Mel Watt's seat, which he left to become the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, "will run concurrently with this year's regular election, leaving the seat empty for what appears to be a record length of time."

The percentage of Americans who support legalizing marijuana has increased from 16 percent in 1987 to to 55 percent now.

The burglars who entered the FBI some 40 years ago to reveal then-director J. Edgar Hoover's control of the agency are speaking publicly for the first time.

IPhone and iPad users bought an estimated $10 billion in apps last year.
