Avenged Sevenfold and Kid Rock will headline the 2014 Carolina Rebellion festival at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 3 and 4, 2014. Tickets are $59.50 for a single-day ticket and $99 for a weekend pass. Camping, hotel and VIP packages are also available.
Last year's Carolina Rebellion was marred by weather issues on the second day, forcing many of the bands to cancel or play abbreviated sets despite a "rain or shine" statement on the tickets. The festival offered to give people a partial refund or a free Sunday ticket for this year's performance to make it up to fans.
In 2013, Carolina Rebellion was headlined by Alice in Chains; Soundgarden did not play due to weather. In 2012, Carolina Rebellion was held in Rockingham, N.C., and headlined by Korn and Shinedown. In 2011, the festival's first year, it was held at Charlotte's Metrolina Expo and headlined by Avenged Sevenfold and Godsmack.
Delette Nycum was my great-grandmother.
Goddamn this town is a drag.
His voice just creeps me out. That is all.
