The popular SouthPark restaurant The Cowfish has closed for a second time this month after more customers came down with an illness after eating there. The restaurant closed its doors last Saturday after employees and customers became sick with what was reportedly the Norovirus. Management has said they will remain closed through Sunday.

Olde Mecklenburg Brewery has announced it will make $2 million in investments this year to add a new bottling line and upgrade its draft system. The new bottling line will fill, bottle and cap as many as 180 bottles in a minute. The brewery's bottling business is reportedly up 225 percent from this time last year.

Gov. Pat McCrory's office announced changes to the NC DMV office yesterday, including a new feature that will allow drivers to skip the lines and renew their driver's license online. Drivers will need to verify their name's spelling and confirm that they don't have any vision problems. The online renewal system went live on Wednesday and will cost $4, the same amount it costs on site.

Police have released photos of a second person of interest in the double murder that took the lives of Mykeijaa Tucker and Matthew Brown on Atmore Street Tuesday night. They said they have identified the first person of interest, seen running from the seen on surveillance video, but did not release his name.

A Paris-bound flight went off the runway at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport during takeoff at 7:30 p.m. on Wedesday, according to an American Airlines spokesperson. The spokesperson said the pilot made a miscalculation and that nobody was hurt. The plane took off an hour later.
