Musicians at Republican campaign

Anyone should be able to understand rock star and Democratic supporter Jon Bon Jovi's disapproval with Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin using his band's song "Who Says You Can't Go Home," during her political rallies. But, he's not the only one ashamed that the Republican party is using his song. Other musicians, including Heart and Jackson Browne have also faced Republican John McCain's campaign using their tracks as well. And they don't like it. Read more about it here.

There is aprox. 40% Democrats and 40% Republican, with the remailing 20% undecided. By not allowing the Republican party (either party really) to use your song, your taking the risk of potentially up setting fifty percent (aprox.)of your potential audience. As a guitar player myself, You will never hear me mention anything about politics at a show, I need every paying custumer I can get! Its one thing to use a song at a political rally, but when Madonna and Coldplay start running their mouths aginst Republicans, I guess they are big enough acts and just don't need Republican album and ticket purchasers. For me, everyones welcome!
