The town of Ayrsley

Ayrsley is a Neo Traditional community (much like Birkdale Village) in South Charlotte with residential, retail and restaurant space. And there’s the wild Wild Wings, and the newest edition to South Charlotte nightlife — Red Lion Restaurant and Tavern.
Red Lion has such the ambiance of an old English pub that it reminded me of something straight out of London. And they have a menu to match: Crispy brie, fish and chips, bangers and mash... all they were missing was some Spotted Dick on the dessert menu — (who remembers the movie King Ralph?)
This bar was decorated with antique furniture, which kinda made me want to sit down and have some tea and crumpets... but I settled for wine. On Saturdays, they have live music – Mag Pie is playing tomorrow.
I highly recommend checking this place out — it’s like going to London without a passport. As the English would say, CHEERS!
Oh, and be sure to ask your server about the clear ranch… it was delicious (you had to have been there).
And I have no idea what this is... an old school mechanical bull???
