Each Friday, we review 10 recently released CDs in 10 words each:

Sugar Blue Threshold — Harmonica virtuoso expands range of blues influences on latest album.

I See Hawks in L.A. Shoulda Been Gold —California country rockers… cowboy hats should be required to listen.

OK Go Of the Blue Colour of the Sky — Those treadmill guys’ latest a mix of Prince, Flaming Lips.

Alice Cooper Special Forces — Reissued 1981 album influenced by guns and warfare, new wave.

Alice Cooper Zipper Catches Skin — Reissued 1982 album showcases more of shock rockers comedic side.

Alice Cooper Dada — Reissued 1983 album is singer’s 14th, final for Warner Bros.

Surfer Blood Astro Coast — Indie rockers have a slight identity crisis, but it works. (At Snug Harbor on Feb. 22.)

Tokyo Rosenthal Ghosts — Sounds like odd combination of Elvis, Chris Isaak, Buddy Holly.

Motion City Soundtrack My Dinosaur Life — Band’s major label pop-rock debut produced by Mark Hoppus. (At Tremont Music Hall on Feb. 6.)

Marianne Keith Cathartic — Singer’s sophomore effort combines folk, pop, rock into pleasant mix.
