Flaming Lips to show "Dark Side", Paul Simon at Bonnaroo

Posted by Jeff Hahne on Tue, Feb 2, 2010 at 5:48 PM

The last time the Flaming Lips played Bonnaroo, their set started around midnight and they shocked the crowd by opening up with a full-on cover of Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" as a sound check.

Though the complete lineup for this year's festival has yet to be announced — it's going to happen on Feb. 9 — Spinner.com is reporting that the Lips will be performing "Dark Side of the Moon" in its entirety for the 2010 festival.

The band will hit the stage around midnight, perform a 2.5-hour set and then launch into its cover of the album.

Another post online states that Paul Simon will be one of the headliners at this year's festival.

While other bands haven't been announced, there's no doubt this will sell some tickets.
