The Opening Act: Ike Ellis

Posted By on Wed, Mar 3, 2010 at 3:43 PM

North Carolina is slowly becoming a breeding ground for MC's and with that you see more and more artist from all over the state taking a stab at rap stardom. Ike Ellis is throwing his name in that hat and hoping to live up to his "King of Karolina" moniker. We caught up with the Woodside, N.C., native and UNC Charlotte alum right after he opened up for Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh during their CIAA weekend show at Amos' Southend.

Enjoy.
