Tommy Ray & The Ray Guns Definitely not your typical blast from the past. What we have here is greaser rock 'n' roll with raspy vocals and tattoos – think sock-hop meets Southern rock. Elvis-inspired microphone dips and big band swing "go baby, go" shout-outs seem to raise enthusiastic wails of approval from the crowd. Their sound is nowhere near terrible but they definitely bring a new twist to good ol' rock 'n' roll. If you're in the mood to shake your tail-feather, then bust out your poodle skirt and go baby, go. With Flathead Mike and The Mercury's. Puckett's Farm Equipment (Nicole Pietrantonio)

Hello. I am just curious about the blog for Tommy Ray and the Ray Guns and how Nicole Pietrantonio decided that their music is "nowhere near terrible". Seems to me that the comment was written because she hasn't really seen the band in person or she couldn't think of anything else to write. Can someone please explain what "nowhere near terrible" stands for? Has Nicole even seen or heard the band in person? Also, if you have a blog written about any band on the soundboard, does that mean that all of them are "nowhere near terrible" as well? Just wondering how bands get to have a special blog written about them if they are "nowhere near terrible". FYI...Tommy Ray and the Ray Guns do not play anything that is considered to be "Southern Rock". Thanks!
