Plaza Midwood Community Radio

Posted By on Thu, Jan 20, 2011 at 12:59 PM

There's something new brewing up online — Plaza Midwood Community Radio. Found at pmcradio.org, it launched earlier this week and features streaming audio of local music and possibly some live broadcasts and other goodies...

It's in the early stages, so you might get some dead air mixed in. It's mostly just an MP3 player on shuffle and there's no telling who you're listening to sometimes, but the idea is fantastic.

Local musicians such as Bruce Hazel and Justin Faircloth are already talking about doing taped shows, live broadcasts and other possibilities. It also looks like they have some live broadcasting from Snug Harbor planned.

Those with ideas or who want to get involved should e-mail info@pmcradio.org.

Check it out.
