George Winston tonight (3/8/11)

Posted By on Tue, Mar 8, 2011 at 8:46 AM

George Winston Easily identifiable as one of this century’s greatest piano phenoms, George Winston is inspired by the seasons. With his versatility in playing the organ, the folk piano, the stride piano and the acoustic piano, Winston is able to capture any audience with his array of melodic sounds and diverse instrumentals. Winston’s taken influences from legendary pianists Fats Waller or James Booker don’t place this man in one genre; R&B, rock and blues numbers are all apart of his set list. $29-$40, McGlohon Theatre. www.blumenthalcenter.org.
