Record Fans have reason to rejoice over sale

Posted By on Tue, Jul 19, 2011 at 1:45 PM

Just when most vinyl-vores seem to be chasing a lost cause, Saturday, July 30th, is an opportunity for traditional record collectors to meet other fans and pump up their libraries.

Greg Neal has the Plaza Hotel of Carowinds booked for the Record and CD Collectors Show. For the first time in twenty years, some serious collectors in the Charlotte are can come together for bartering and buying.

CD and DVDs will also be on sale, making it an opportunity to get a good deal on newer options.

Admission is free, and the convention, located at the Plaza Hotel across the street from Carowinds, lasts from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
