Music Menu Bringing back the old school

FRANKIE BEVERLY & MAZE Imagine a 13-year-old at his first concert being thrust into a world where the grooves are soulful, the songs are catchy and the vibe is absolutely euphoric — except for the fact that everyone around them a little tipsy and at the very least, two decades his senior. Still touring on the hits, Beverly and Maze are about as much of a lock as you can get for a good live show. Fantasia is also on the bill. $65-$100. Time Warner Cable Uptown Amphitheatre.
