Music Menu Matrimony to showcase their developing sound

MATRIMONY — Charlotte quintet Matrimony has been hard at work on new material these days and plans on showcasing a bit of it at this show. Gone are the days of husband-and-wife folk songs as they delve into deeper strands of indie rock. The vocals of James and Ashlee Brown still dominate, but the musicianship is what drives it all forward. With Public Radio. $10-$12. Visulite Theatre. www.visulite.com.
