Paint Fumes rock The Milestone tonight (Jan. 18)

Posted By on Wed, Jan 18, 2012 at 3:23 PM

PAINT FUMES One of the bright young lights in Charlotte’s rambunctious garage scene, the Sewercide denizens just signed with Slovenly Recordings, home to fellow travelers like Subsonics and The Spits. They’ll drop their debut, Uck Life, this spring, while the release of their debut 7-inch — featuring “Egyptian Rat” b/w “Waste of Time” and “Panic Attack” — serves as a tasty teaser in the meantime. With these Paint Fumes you’ll catch raw whiffs of the MC5 and Oblivians, and that’s never a bad buzz. With locals Temperance League and Joint Damage in support, as well as Greensboro’s intriguing Drag Sounds. $6-$7. The Milestone.
