3rd annual FemmeFest returns to Noda on May 22 

The third annual Charlotte FemmeFest will be held in the NoDa Arts District on Saturday, May 22. Focused at venues near the intersection of N. Davidson and 36th streets, the festival will run from 5:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Organized by The Evening Muse owners Joe and Lea Kuhlmann, FemmeFest is a celebration of music, art and culture that provides a showcase for female artists.

Among those scheduled to perform are Jill Andrews, Amelia's Mechanics, Amissville, Amy Broome Band, Ang Medlin, Bridgit Scheide, Doria Roberts, Emily Lynch, Eva Gael, Gretel, Hannah Miller, Sara Scott, Jill Dineen Band, The Alpha Theory, Liz Howell, Mieka Pauley Band, Natalie Royal, Rachel Vanslyke, Sy Arden, The Near Misses, Underhill Rose, Valorie Miller, Marcie Hernandez and Wavy Space.

Advance tickets are $15 via online or at The Evening Muse or Neighborhood Theatre. Proceeds from this year's FemmeFest will go to Center of Hope - Women and Children's Homeless Shelter. For more information, visit www.charlottefemmefest.org.
