48 Hour Film Project Kickoff

When: Fri., Aug. 7, 7 p.m. 2015
Charlotte will be hosting this international short film competition in which local filmmakers have only 48 hours to create a seven-minute long film. Filmmakers will draw from an envelope which includes the details for their short film requirements (such as genre, character, prop and dialogue line). Participants will then have 48 hours to create their best seven-minute film and showcase it on Aug. 20th, where guests will vote on the best film and the winner will then compete again 135 nationally and have the chance to screen at 2016 Cannes Film Festival.For more information visit http://48hourfilm.com/en/charlotte
