The two sold-out dates of The Black Crowes aren’t until November, but that’s a great sign of the quality of acts that are coming through the NoDa venue. In addition to getting the big names, they’ve also remodeled the place — a VIP section, bigger floor space thanks to taking out some chairs, and nice sound and lighting. They give locals a chance and find the time to let other acts play multiple nights through a variety of genres. 511 E. 36th St. 704-358-9298.
