In case you hadn't heard, Creative Loafing is celebrating its 25th year anniversary this year. TWENTY-FIVE years, folks. That's a pretty big deal, considering many of you probably didn't think we'd last as long as we have.
For 25 years, we've been busting our behinds to be the alternative voice on Charlotte's arts, music and entertainment scenes. And for that same amount of time, we've also been your go-to source for what is the very BEST of Charlotte.
Locally, it seems that every newspaper, website and high school blogger has a "best of the Queen City" contest to push, but everybody knows CL's annual contest is the city's oldest, boldest — and best. And to make sure this 25th go-round is as impressive as the previous 24, we're once again asking Charlotteans to take the time to make your voices known on what you believe to be the most -- and, in some instances, least -- memorable people, places and things in Charlotte.
Votes must be received by Aug. 31; the issue will hit the streets Oct. 4.
Happy voting!
