Re: “Ruling Obamacare unconstitutional will cost lives

Mr Klein, I'm sorry for your situation... but you've missed several points. As far as the Bible verse, it relates to immediate contact, not laundering your deed through a government/insurance apparatus. Also, God loves a cheerful GIVER not an INVOLUNTARY TAKER. The act of giving is volitional; buying an ACA policy is not. And finally, this verse relates to how you should treat other people, not what other people should provide for you.

Your situation cries out for a modification of the current system. There should be a government system for catastrophic illness and a private system for enhanced benefits. Right now under ACA I pay $983/mo with a $12.5K deductible and 20% co-pay. It is the worst insurance I have ever had and the most expensive. ACA is garbage. As a 53 year old male don't need lactation services or maternity care, yet I must pay for that coverage. Garbage.

And that has nothing to do with one's faith.

Republicans don't care about you or your health. They are totally focused on their war against the Democrats. Have you heard a single word from them about what they would replace the Affordable Care Act with? All I hear is the ongoing temper tantrum that despite their best efforts they were unable to keep it from passing and so now they are going to kill it.

Re: “Thom Tillis' dumb take on regulations, more

Extremism: all or none got it...if we need 300 some pages vs a few. Lets go with that reasoning.

And "stop at red lights, go on green lights" seems to fit the simple Idea of a few.

Re: “Oh Captain, My Captain, wherefore art thou?

We sure don't need "A" leader....but having a visionary would be helpful.

Re: “A quest for Charlotte's head (and heart)

I can't wait to read your article and see the comments. I was asked a similar question in a job interview a couple of months ago, and I struggled to come up with three names.

Re: “Back From The Dead — again

At least WMAL allowed itself a "pet liberal". CL won't let a non-liberal anywhere near its pages.
