Re: “Three Questions For Penny Craver, co-founder of Dish

You're bathrooms have always been single units , please don't try to claim they're "gender neutral" I just ate there three months ago and "men's" was present . You're not progressive , yes your food is good but don't try to make more revenue in BS

Re: “Corkbuzz is more than just a wine bar

I agree with you! A favorite place of ours to visit. I can't drink wine but I love the fantastic and exciting food at Corkbuzz, every single thing. I think I've tried everything on the menu at least once and every time I think that I found my new favorite. Love the fun, casual, friendly atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and the service is outstanding.

Re: “Charlotte-based startup YoDish puts vegan options on yo' fork

Yes, we are definitely committed to helping people avoid allergens. Luckily, vegan food is free of 5 of the top 8 allergens, save for soy, nuts (tree nuts and peanuts), and wheat. And with so many people avoiding gluten, most restaurants in our guide have vegan and gluten free options. It's also fortunate that most restaurants are well-versed on these topics, especially vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants, making it much easier to navigate eating out with food allergies.

Re: “Charlotte-based startup YoDish puts vegan options on yo' fork

Is YoDish no longer focusing on allergies?

Re: “Charlotte-based startup YoDish puts vegan options on yo' fork

YoDish is unique in that we're an interactive brand, rather than your basic guide. Like other websites out there, we list vegan friendly restaurants, but at, you can chat with other users and get answers to your questions; you can also vote for your favorite restaurants and connect with locals to really get the inside scoop. In addition to our interactive web guide, we also offer printed veg guides, so it's hard to compare the YoDish brand to anything currently available.

I hope you'll check us out and see for yourself what makes YoDosh unique! Our aggressive growth plan means we'll be nationwide soon! Want us to add a guide? Have more questions? Email me at and I'd be happy to help in any way I can.

Re: “A gathering of Charlotte's tastemakers

Hi, I am reaching out to you on behalf of Novanta 90 Pizzeria, the Charlotte, NC regionā€™s only truly authentic Napoletana pizza restaurant. I am helping the owners with their public relations and social media.

I see that you are a well-known and high-profile foodie blogger, and wanted to invite you to visit the new, beautiful restaurant (conveniently located at exit 31 right off I-77) at LangTree at the Lake. The artisan pizzas are cooked by certified chefs in specially imported ovens in 90 seconds at 900 degrees. Itā€™s amazing to watch and more amazing to eat! The toppings are all incredibly fresh and either imported from Italy or sourced from local farms. The crust is puffy and slightly charredā€¦absolutely delicious.

I thought you would be very interested in meeting the owners and certified chefs, and watching the preparation. In addition, Novanta 90 chefs make house-made cheese and dough daily so you can see process as well if you are interested.

I would like to offer you a complimentary appetizer when you visit.

Please let me know when you think you are able to visit Novanta 90 Pizzeria Napoletana.

Thank you! Karen Dortschy
