If you missed seeing Joseph Bathanti's appearance on the 22nd, he'll also be coming to Charlotte Mecklenburg Library's Morrison Regional branch on Sept. 28. The NC Poet Laureate's appearance at the library is part of 100 Thousand Poets for Change, a global celebration of the power of poetry. Details are on the library's web site http://www.cmlibrary.org/.

Great article, Ed. Well researched and thorough. I'd been wondering why this amendment showed up now, and in a primary election no less.

Vote, people, vote! Early one-stop voting is quick and easy.
