If you want to be balanced in reporting then you should include that Rabbi A. James Rudin, the AJCs senior interreligious adviser, wrote in a statement Wednesday that Graham regretted his remarks about Jews and Judaism. Unlike your statement above, its been widely reported that he regretted the remarks to Nixon. As reported by the Jewish Telegraph, Graham publicly apologized for them and asked for forgiveness during his 2002 Crusade in New York City, Rudin wrote. I had a private conversation with him at that time, where he expressed deep personal remorse and asked me to convey his sincere apologies to the entire Jewish community. Graham on many occasions declared himself an imperfect man who was only worthy of Heaven because of Jesus Christ. He often said during his events that his viewpoint and stance on many issues were according to what God said in the Bible. He often challenged his listeners by saying it is up to each of us you to agree or disagree.
