No, this isn’t another of Charlotte’s ubiquitous Jerry Garcia/Grateful Dead tribute shows (see three entries previous). The Jerry here is electronic music wizard Jon Jerry of Abstracta Audio and Activ-Analog Records, labels on the cutting edge of techno, house and electro. Seeming to radiate from the edge of our galaxy, this is dark and mysterious stuff, where hooks and melodies emerge gradually from dense textures. Paul D and Probably Will of Knocturnal are also featured in this showcase.
