Punjab is well known - famous for its people's bravery, hard work and self respect. But, all these qualities are over shadowed by the fact that maximum female foeticide cases take place in Punjab "Akhiyaan Udeekdian" is an effort to awaken the minds of people about this problem in order to fight this stigma. A mother takes the stand when time and again she is forced to abort the female fetus. She wins this battle by giving birth to talented girl child while she sacrifices her life. "Akhiyaan Udeekdian" is an excellent fun filled, entertaining message giving which motivates the people to celebrate the birth of a girl child.
