ART: 'Sweet-N-Sassy'

MONDAY, SEPT. 8

Providence Gallery's newest exhibition More or Less contains the works of one artist. Her name is Michelle Harvey Collins, and she's a Davidson College graduate with knack for painting figurative pieces of art. From paintings like this faceless gal in a pretty dress to land and seascapes, she drifts her paintbrush into a range of territories. See her artwork through Sept. 30. Free. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Providence Gallery, 601 Providence Road., Ste. A. 704-333-4535. www.providencegallery.net.
