Art: Through the Eye of Art

According to those big brains in psychology, the color red is considered the most emotionally intense color. It's flashy and commonly associated with love (and blood, too, if you want to be morbid). Given its torridity, local artists have teamed up for an exhibit at Gil Gallery that is devoted to the shade. The showcase, the first in a four-part series called Through the Eye of Art, features works of varying mediums that express artists' personal reflections for the color red.
