ART: Tiger's eye

Wednesday, Oct. 1

How is light produced? Photographers and artists share a constant wonder for this grappling question. They're curious about light transformations, especially those that result in their own creations. The Light Factory's newest exhibition titled Into the Mystic explores these topics and the exotic art forms that result from related techniques. The exhibit features works from Connie Sullivan, Heather D. Freeman, Kit Kube and Michael Wilson. Free. Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday, 1 p.m.-6 p.m. On exhibition through January 4, 2009. The Light Factory (Knight Gallery), 345 N. College St. 704-333-9755. www.lightfactory.org.
