Rowe Arts Galleries, UNCC 2003 Arts Alumni Invitational. Features dual exhibitions by graduates now working in the professional arts world. Jerald Melberg Gallery Ernesto Berra, Helen Shirk and Raul Diaz. Berra's collages often resemble abstract landscapes and include everyday objects such as wires, sticks and nails. Shirk's copper vessels reflect her interest in brilliantly colored and textured organic forms. Diaz's dream-like paintings create ethereal textured environments.
