BSA Troop 33's Super Bowl BBQ Weekend

Barbecue has been used for fundraisers since time began in the South and this one, held at Sardis Presbyterian Church on Sardis Road, is an annual event you shouldn't miss. Each year, the leaders and kids of Boy Scout Troop 33 build a wood-burning pit in the parking lot of the scout hut on the weekend of the Super Bowl. The Troop stays up all night tending the fire and smoking the meat. Buy early; they have a loyal following.
