The governor and former mayor aren't exactly chummy, and a photo - and subsequent animated gif - taken in March shows exactly how awkward these two are around each other. The governor came to Charlotte to help Mayor Foxx announce a big job boost, and somewhere between cheesy smiles and handshakes, Foxx leapt into McCrory's unwilling arms for the most awkward side hug/bro embrace in history.
