Car wrecks, domestic disputes and excruciatingly detailed weather reports. Sorry, even considering NBC6’s occasional investigative piece, the serious media critics are right: “TV news” has practically become an oxymoron. The formerly proud craft has been trivialized, bloodied up, and cheapened so badly, it hardly even qualifies as news anymore.
