Most employees at typical big box music stores are folks either nearing senior citizen status and have never heard of Wolfmother, or some high school kid whose musical knowledge doesn’t go beyond 1990. That’s what makes Manifest so great. Not only do the groovy guys and gals who work there obviously love and know music, the store’s CD selection, both new and used, is tremendous. Add the frequent in-store performances by local artists, a potpourri of pop culture goodies, and you’ve got yourself a winner.
