Black Light Magic

Friday, Feb. 23

It's a candy-colored, neon-bright cornucopia of comedy and magic -- and for the first time, Omimeo Mime Theatre's Black Light Magic is at ImaginOn. Performances begin tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the intimate Wachovia Playhouse. Lucky us. Everybody is close to the action as Hardin Minor, Eddie Williams, and Lazaro Memije reprise their 2001 Halloween wow with special guests combining black light illusion with the comedy and mystery of mime. Also lucky are Minor & Co. They've long since sold out their original run in the cozy venue and have added two performances to their run to meet demand. Only tonight's performance has front orchestra seats available at $12 and general admission seats at $10. You can waitlist yourself and your favorite anklebiter for shows at 7:30 p.m. on Friday; 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. on Saturday; or 2 and 4 p.m. Sunday. Call 704-973-2828 and hope for the best.
