Budrus is an award-winning documentary, the official selection in 21 film festivals world-wide, winning major awards in 9 of them. It is the story of a Palestinian community organizer and his 15-year-old daughter who, together, unite local Fatah, Hamas, and Israelis to nonviolently save his village of Budrus from destruction by the creation of Israel's separation barrier. Focusing on hope and the power of nonviolence it shows what is possible in the Middle East.
