The Morehead Tavern continues its monthly Thursday Jazz and Soul series with The Calvin Edwards Trio. Prepare for a night of Blues and Jazz with shot of Soul! Jazz guitarist, singer and songwriter Calvin Edwards brings his dynamic trio to The Tavern on East Morehead St. Born in Kings Mountain N.C., Calvin is also a well-known international artist who has performed in Okinawa, Tokyo, and China as well as performing for the G8 Summit for President Clinton in Okinawa. At 17, he joined the famous Gospel group Five Blind Boys of Alabama for many years. Join us for a night of Smokin' Blues, Soul, and Jazz!
