One year after the death of Keith Lamont Scott and the protests that followed, the pastors of area churches are collaborating on an ecumenical community worship service at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday, September 21, at 7 p.m. Participating churches include Antioch Missionary Baptist, Caldwell Presbyterian, Christ Episcopal, CN Jenkins, Covenant Presbyterian, First United Presbyterian, Grier Heights Presbyterian, Myers Park Baptist, Myers Park Presbyterian, Myers Park United Methodist, Selwyn Avenue Presbyterian, St. John’s Baptist, St. Peter’s Episcopal and The Park. Free parking.
