Charlotte Pride Band (CPB) concludes its 2017-2018 season with “Out of This World.” Featuring television and movie themes exploring the final frontier, this science fiction fest includes such favorites as “Star Wars,” “ET,” “Star Trek,” “Stargate,” “Back to the Future,” “Guardians of the Future,” “Doctor Who,” and “Battlestar Galactica.” The concert is at 5pm on Saturday, May 19 in Heaton Hall at Myers Park Baptist Church. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the door or online at http://www.charlotteprideband.org/!tickets/. CPB recently celebrated its eighth anniversary and has approximately 50 members drawn from greater Charlotte’s LGBTQI community and supporters.
